Holiday baking is something I love and look forward to every Christmas. This year, since I had help from my two chefs in training, it only took me nine hours to make seven double batches of cookies and candy. You know how that works, "Can we help Mom?"........ the time it takes to do something all of the sudden doubles. This year the baking was about the experience not the productiveness.
We have such wonderful neighbors who have all been so good to us. It was a delight taking our home baked goodies to every one of their doors. We delivered plates to ten houses.
Candy Cane Thumbprints
Pecan Shortbread Logs
Pumpkin Pie Drops
Chocolate Surprise Bites
Candy Cane Bark
Chocolate & Peanut butter Fudge

I don't live to far if you have an extra plate you need to get rid of!! hehe
Looks great!
You're awesome, Gretchen! Especially for sacrificing productivity in favor of parent-child moments. ;)
Such a good mommy!!
yum!
Only 9 hours???? :)
your neighbors are lucky ducks. Good thing I don't live on your street, these treats would be fatal for my gestational diabetes. I have NO control when it comes to the sweet stuff!
mmmmmm!! you guys did a great job!
I'm late posting my comment but I had just read some of your blogs recently ....I love what you share. You will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER regret these wonderful moments! You are a great example of Proverbs 31!
